Sieglinde Joyce

Sieglinde Joyce lives in Wilmington VT, with her husband Ben and Daughter Chloe, also their 2 cats and dog. Sieglinde has been painting on and off since attending Keene High school where she took all the art classes they offered, and later in college took a few painting classes at the Massachusetts college of Art. When Sieglinde resided out in Colorado the landscape and wildflowers inspired her to paint a lot and she had an art opening out there with her paintings in the oil medium. Sieglinde mostly focuses her art on flowers and landscapes. Sieglinde has had a gardening business in the Valley for 9 years now and has been using the earth as her canvas also. She still has managed to do some painting in between the gardening and also took Jim McGrath’s painting class to keep her in touch with the brush. This opportunity to paint a Bear for the Valley came at a perfect time and she can’t wait to get started. She hopes that this opportunity will spark the inspiration in her to paint enough to have another art opening here in the Valley. She hopes that Bears in the Valley will pull lots of artists out of hibernation and give the Valley a reputation of being more of an art hotspot!!!
